Commented Issue: Trouble with no audio [1464]

I just converted a TV program from a .avi file. (From FX channel)
I have confirmed that the source has audio.
the .mp4 output file with commercials (comskip) removed has no audio.
I believe that the other MCEBuddy settings were defaults except folder designations...and most of those were defaults as well.
I looked at the common issues that described "MCEBuddy sometimes creates video with no audio"
There are no indications of a secondary audio file in the properties window.
This is the contents of the Medio Info;
Video
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Codec : dvvideo
Duration : 01h : 04m : 37s
Height : 480
Width : 720
FPS : 29.97

Audio 1
------------------------------------------------------------------------------Language :
Codec : pcm_s16le
Channels : 2

Nothing unusual.

I have to be doing something wrong but which is very simple but browsing around the advanced pages i just do not see anything obvious to me.

I am using VLC to play back .mp4 files. The O/S is Win7.

I can convert it in Freemake Video Converter, removing the commercials manually. But i thought i would give Buddy a whirl to see how good it was at trimmng and removing commercials...BTW: the final length was just over 44 min.n n When i trimmed the program, it was 59 min with commercials and my hand-cut version was 43:59, just 3 seconds shorter. This implies that the cutting was working pretty well.

I would appreciate suggestions.

Thanks.
Terry

Remove '-async 1' from your profile. My FX channel recordings had problem with audio until I removed this parameter.
