Im running 2.3.13. Whenever the pc starts, and I go to start mcebuddy and it says that the service is not started. I then go into services it shows that the mcebubby service is started. It is set to start automatically. So, I stop and restart the service and then mcebuddy works. As long as I do not restart the pc, the software continues to work fine.
Im sure this is a common problem. What is stopping the service from completely starting?

I've only seen this happen once and ti was resolved with a clean install. Try it.
Windows is blocking communication between the engine and the client which is why isn't able to connect. Oen reason in teh past was that Seagate software for some reason was using the same pipename that MCEBuddy as using (can't understand why they would name their comm pipe mcebuddy) but that caused the conflict and broken communication.
If the clean install does not work, open the windows event logs and see what's going on.
