I am running MCEBuddy latest beta version, I believe it is v2.15 beta. I have setup a M-F schedule for the program to run from 8 am to 5 pm.
The program appears to be running and removing the commercials within this timeframe. My questions how does the program run in the background and is there a way to confirm the progam is actually running during those time periods.
If I manually launch MCEBuddy, I get the icon in my bottom task bar (running W7) and I can click the icone to see that the program is running. If I see the icon in my bottom task bar and then I go into task manager, I also will see the program running.
However, if I don't manual launch MCEBuddy and just let it run per the schedule, I don't see any icon show up at 8 am telling me that the program is actually running. Surprising too, when I go into the task manager after 8am, i again don't see any MCE Buddy program running within the Applications or Processes. Is there a way to confirm that program is actually running when using the schedule? The only way I knew it was is that converted files were showing up in their designated folder. I assumed if I would manually click and launch the program that would launch the program, but not really confirm that is was running in the background.
