MCEBuddy has great features and we would love to be able to use it but we are encountering a problem that is preventing that. We use Windows Media Center to record HD Digital TV from our roof antenna. Works great however we need to convert the files from WTV to MPEG-4 which our HDTV can read. MCEBuddy converts them however there are occasional squares of scramble video in the screen when we replay the output. Other converter we have tried do not do this but have other problems and do not have the feature set MCEBuddy has. The computer where we run Media Center and have tried MCEBuddy on is an HP Desktop with an AMD 6 Core 2.8 GHZ processor and 8 GB for memory. Our TV card is Hauppauge WinTV 723X. Hopefully there is a setting or another simple fix that will solve our problem.
