Is it me, or does 2.3.15 Beta, appear to be extremely slow converting files?

This is how long time it took to convert a 2h 12m long movie:
2.3.13: 3h 40m
2.3.14: 9h 01m
2.3.15 Beta: 8h 56m
The same profile used: MP4 Fast on same PC. No background tasks, MCE Buddy to use all available resources.
