I too had questions about the hardware encoding, I did donate to get the latest version not specifically for the added benefits, but because this developer has created this fantastic product that NEEDS to be supported. The hours and hours this program saves me is well worth the donation. With that said... I read this post about the hardware encoding, while I am no programmer (I am sane), its confusing. Is it possible to get a step by step list of things to do if the hardware encoding is not working. It appears a lot of what is required is hardware dependent, which makes sense. If a list of minimum required items would be nice.
My PC has an old processor, I7 (first generation), newer graphics card GeForce 650, I don't know about the Intel Quick Sync, couldn't really find any good information about it. A simple flow chart would be nice on the things to try and the order they should be tried in. Thanks...
