MCEBuddy on my HTPC Windows 7 - Media center PC has been converting TV Shows and my Haswell Server box does Movies. I want to make this easy to expand to 3 PCs. More efficient for a varying input would be to have a list of the files in MCEBuddy's queue (the primary box) and then delegate the next file in line to be converted a remote PC and remove it its local queue.
I've searched and read the discussions on multi-PC processing but curious how other users make it work in their environment where they record more than 1 PC can convert. What regex expression would you use to split file processing to multiple PCs?
PC #1: [^a-m]
PC #2: [^n-z]
Performance Example:
Amish Grace Lifetime Movie Network (small US movie) 2hr: 04m: 58s, 1080x1920, FPS 29.97, Audio AC3, 6 channel; WTV file, 11GB 1080x1920 MP2 Source recorded from WMC
MCEBuddy 2.3.15 (Beta, Donator)
MP4 - Normal, Comskip donator
Intel Haswell 3.4Ghz 4 Cores (e3-1240 ~= i5-4670), Spinning WD RED HD, Win7-ESXI
