Tried to install 2.3.11 64Bit without installing the FFD slide. Got error 1001. Eception occurred oOnAfterInstall event handler of System ServiceProcessInstaller can not start service.. The System can not find the path specified.
I have installed MCE Buddy since before version 1; this is first time the service was not installed.

Assuming it could have been a bad install (did you close the MCEBuddy GUI app before uninstalling it? - from the system tray)
