New Post: renamed wtv files broken

Hello,
I'm trying to use MCEBuddy to simply rename and file WMC recorded live tv so that it looks nice in Media Browser 3. However, after MCEB did it's thing, the renamed files fail catastrophically in WMC in that they result in a pop up telling me WMC has to shut down. During the time the pop up is there, i get sound, but no video. I've tried this on multiple files that were all renamed during the batch conversion. Is there a way to get these back to operational status - they did work before, but had the inconvenient wmctv type file structure. I could have just renamed by hand, but thought i'd be smart and automate with your good product. I'm sure it can do it and I just have some wrong settings.

This issue does sound similar to:
https://mcebuddy2x.codeplex.com/discussions/452506

I'm running the pre-release 14 so i think the while KB issue is resolved (I didn't check if i had it or not, but i am up to date on my windows patches)
I am running shark007 and I did agree to install the codecs/filters when in installed MCEBuddy -if that's of any help.

these next two links are shots of the error pop up. clicking debug just tells me the same thing, that there was an error. mce gets shut down automatically.

One of the links below is the general log file, the other is for a conversion of a live tv recorded show that is "broken"

1) what did I do wrong so i can do it right next time
2) what can i do now with the recorded shows i have that won't play? If I can recode them, what settings ought i use?))
