Using Windows Media Center on Windows 7 64-bit, HD Homerun Prime tuners. Unable to use MCEBuddy to re-encode these files to H.264 using stock WTV profile.
Problems observed:
- Files will not play properly on XBox 360 extenders. Audio, but no video.
- Data inside Media Center shows are still 30 minutes, even after a comskip (donator) / cut reducing them to ~22 minutes.
- Fast-forward bar indicates proper time, but FF/RW doesn't work.
- Files also apparently cannot be opened for editing in some other H.264 editing software (VRD H.264 for one).
- Pre-encode (cut-only) MPEG 2 files play properly
Versions of MCEBuddy tried (all 64-bit):
2.3.13
2.3.14
2.3.15 Beta
2.3.15 Beta Debug builds
