The program is working perfectly to convert WTV files in Win 7 Ultimate to MP4, but the files won't play in MCE. The frustrating part here is that the problem is not consistent. All videos will play on Windows Media Player or VLC, but on Windows Media Center I get a blank screen on all videos except 2.
I have installed various codecs, including the FFDShow, but the problem persists.

yeah windows 7 and 3rd party codecs are never a good idea. Actually I don't see much reason to use 3rd party codecs, Windows foundation does a very good job of supporting most formats (except MKV for which you ONLY need a splitter) and also supports hardware accelleration. So why would you want to use 3rd party codecs?
And even if you do you should only use SAFE codecs like FFDSHOW (not SHARK) which don't modify the core codecs and then use a SAFE tool like Win8DSTWEAKER to disable the foundation layer. I've never liked Shark codecs they are very hard on the system registry and very unsafe to use.
