As a regular user of Windows Media Center to download TV programs, I’ve found MCE Buddy 2.3.14 to be just terrific in its ability to automatically convert the WTV files to more widely used MP4 files which are accepted on all my player devices except a Blaupunkt (late model) TV.
MP4 files presented on this device result in an “Unsupported file” message.
On investigation with the company I am advised that MP4 is acceptable but that the codec employed may not meet their requirements, which are as follows
H.264[AVC] MP
H.264[AVC] HP
MPEG-4 SP
MPEG-4 ASP
MPEG-4 XVID
Is there any way that I can incorporate one of these codecs into the generated MP4 file?
Cheers
