I have 2 different windows 7 computers and converting the same file on both computers gets me different cropping results when the source contains both 16:9 and 4:3 material. On one machine the converted file is formatted in 16:9 and on the other machine it is cropped for 4:3. I have verified several times that both versions of MCEbuddy 2.3 release 12 have exactly the same options checked off.
Hardware wise both are HP desktop computers one with an I7 processor hooked up to a 28" 16:9 monitor and the other with Pentium dual core hooked up to a 19" 4:3 monitor. Oddly enough the computer with the 16:9 monitor converts to 4:3 cropping and the computer with the 4:3 monitor converts to 16:9 format.
The attached jpg shows a frame from each conversion at roughly the same point in time. You can clearly see on one the conversion crops on the top and bottom of the screen and on the other, along the sides. Both photos were taken by the respectively converted files played back on the I7 computer using Windows media player.
