In the future,I want towrite a pluginthat allowsyou to create custom EDL file for Videos and TV Records.
User play video and createssegments, whichwill indicate thestart and end timecommersial skip (TV Toolbox analogue). Because on playing video Media center API can manipulateonly with time not with frames, EDL file format will as Classic MPlayer EDL ( http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Edit_decision_list#MPlayer_EDL ). Start and end time will be setin seconds.
So it would benice ifa future release ofthe settingscontained thefollowing options are:
1. conversions startsonly if the EDL file exists.
2. Create in the output folder only EDL file from Comskip or ShowAnalyzer filter, which plugin can read and edit. If I'm not mistaken such option already exists.
Actuallythe pluginwill becomea powerfulvideo editor for Windows Media Center
