I did think of that but it's very tricky. Instead I have provided an easier method. Set the priority to low and it make mcebuddy a background task and have virtually no impact on the user experience. It works great for me.
Furthermore you can limit the number o processors mcebuddy uses through the expert settings thereby ensuring at least 1 free processor at all times for other tasks. So with priority and CPU selection it pretty much gives you what you need without any complicated
pausing and resuming.
