Commented Unassigned: MCE Buddy won't process any video files - Gets stuck "Re-ReMuxing due to audio error" [1628]

I am unable to process any video, and the program gets stuck in a cycle of constantly "Re-ReMuxing due to audio error". I am currently using version 2.3 (Release 12), and have the same problem using both x32 and x64 version of MCE Buddy. I also accepted all the prompts during installation to add (e.g. FFDShow, Haali Media Splitter, ShowAnalyser Suite).

I am trying to process UK broadcasted films recorded in WMCentre, and ideally would just like to remove/trim out the adverts and leave the video files in their original WTV format (Which also avoids lengthy video conversion).
I am having the same re-remuxing issue across a range of several different movies I have tried to process.

MY PC is a very recent i-7 Haswell build, with 250GB SSD, 8GB RAM, so I think it's unlikely to be a hardware issue.

Please can you advise how I can troubleshoot this issue.
See the attached for an example log of one of the various films I have been trying to process.
Thanks.

Thanks again for the quick reply - I think I understand the issue now... I found this comment you had contributed on one of the other threads which I thought I would add here for everyone's benefit (Below).

> "Okay for those folks who are not able to play back WTV files encoded by MCEBuddy I've found out why. It's FFDSHOW, somewhere ffdshow is breaking WTV playback.
I've isolated part of it, ffdshow video decoder configuration ->MPEG2 -> set to Disabled (this is what causes the crash). Now it should not crash WMP or MCE anymore.
However I have noticed on 1 computer this causes the video playback not to work. That's something ffdshow has broken. I haven't found a workaround for it but you can try uninstaling ffdshow and see if it helps otherwise the best bet is to reinstall windows (it works perfectly on a clean installation) and DO NOT INSTALL FFDSHOW as it it break WTV playback.
i will be removing the prompt to install ffdshow in the next build of mcebuddy"

To make this work, do you mean a clean Windows install - That seems a bit extreme?
If I can avoid it I would rather not do a total clean install from scratch, as this takes hours with all the additional programs and custom settings in various programs like Windows Media Centre, and Media Browser... Surely there must be some other way to troubleshoot this, such as un-installing FFDShow and setting Codecs back to default settings... Would this work / Any suggestions?

Alternatively, can you recommend what are the optimal settings in MCE Buddy for an alternative to unprocessed WTV files, perhaps mp4?? Like many others, ideally I am trying to achieve minimum processing time, while maintaining the video files as close as possible to their original format recorded in Windows Media Centre, which is why I had chosen WTV unprocessed format originally.

Thanks.

Thanks.
