I have a more general issue: My HD files are hanging MCE Buddy. Don't know why. Too big to post. Too lazy to compile MCEB and look for the issue myself.
* So, here's my suggestion: files that hang MCEB shouldn't hang up the whole works. Come up with "some number" (30 seconds?) for how long it should take any sub-process to _start_ showing progress, and if it doesn't show progress by then, MCEB moves on with life and gives up on that file for a while, or permanently, or retries it when it's idle.

it's too big! it's 2.5GB! I tried the same station, and recorded smaller files, and none of them hang. but these big Seinfeld recordings, they do hang. I noticed that with the rest of the files, it only stays on "fast remuxing" (where it hangs) just a split second before moving onto "slow remuxing", and I suspect the same should be true for these hanging files too. I suspect it's the very beginning step of the slow re-mux phase, and it's never getting past that. What does the slow remux detection step do anyhow, and which pieces are involved?
