Ok I cant seem to find the manual on the Remote option. Mabey im looking at it wrong. What I see the Remote program this way. I can install mcebuddy on my main HTPC1 and have it running. Then on anther computer in my network I can run the remote software and change settings on HTPC1 from the remote computer. Is this correct?

the Client that comes with the full install is the exact same file that ships with the remote client.
What you should is try lick on the remote enigne button and enter your htpc's ip address on the local machine or enter the machine name (netbios) and see if that connects. If it does then it's a firewall issue that is blocking incoming connectiong on port 23332 or blocking outgoing connections from your remote machine
