Ok I cant seem to find the manual on the Remote option. Mabey im looking at it wrong. What I see the Remote program this way. I can install mcebuddy on my main HTPC1 and have it running. Then on anther computer in my network I can run the remote software and change settings on HTPC1 from the remote computer. Is this correct?

Yeah Im using the same version that I downloaded at the same time. so to check the firewall thing cant i install the full version on htpc1 then install the client on the same htpc1 and try to connect to the main one with the remote should that work or do they have to be on different machines.
