Since updating to the current release (12), I've been finding .xml files in the save directory, named identically to the output videos while using ShowAnalyzer. Though these .xml files are easy enough to delete manually and are not cause for alarm, I'm assuming the developers may want to investigate and address this prior to the next release. Here's how to turn off XML generation by ShowAnalyzer:
Click Settings -> Default Profile -> Output ->DVRMSToolBox -> When -> (__DOUBLE CLICK__ on _Live_ to get a drop down box) Change from "_Live_" to "_Never_". Then _Check Override_ and click _Save Profile_
