Since updating to the current release (12), I've been finding .xml files in the save directory, named identically to the output videos while using ShowAnalyzer. Though these .xml files are easy enough to delete manually and are not cause for alarm, I'm assuming the developers may want to investigate and address this prior to the next release. I appreciate your help as it's unlikely I'd ever have found this particular setting without you. I've made the adjustment exactly as described above, and followed up with a reboot prior to testing.
Upon test-converting with the same 30 minute WTV file as before, my end results appear to be exactly the same (no change). I'm still seeing an .xml file saved in the location of the converted video.
